PhotoHunt Saturday: Lazy

In the spirit of the upcoming holiday spookiness, I've been inspired by all sorts of creepy looking things lately, like old houses, and these flower portraits I took a few years ago. Talk about lazy, I just pulled these portraits of a Princess Flower out of my archives, no effort required on my part for this PhotoHunt!

PhotoHunt Saturday: Road

As I am not at my regular computer for the next week, my selection of blogging material and accompanying photographs may vary a little from my normal fare. While she visited in Washington this summer, one of her favorite things to do was run out the half mile to, and back from the mailbox. The picture at my other blog is the view walking out to, and this is one of my favorites of Cupcake running back in on the road towards our home.

Weekend Snapshot #54

Who would have thought firewood could be so beautiful? These gorgeous colors and textures are courtesy of a friend's woodshed. This is just a small representation of the ten cords recently split and stacked in preparation of what promises to be a long, cold winter here on the Olympic Peninsula!
